This beautiful pearl necklace collection was created by people with intellectual disabilities, together with the goldsmiths of Vedder & Vedder. Anne and Esther Vedder have developed a deep understanding of and a strong connection with people who have intellectual disabilities. 

During their journey with Vedder & Vedder, they have learned that meaningful work brings happiness and increases self-confidence to everyone, including those who are distanced from the workforce. Their mission is to create a platform for these talented makers to showcase their skills and get the recognition they deserve.

Wearing these necklaces not only makes you look beautiful, but it also raises awareness and supports a movement that represents the potential and talents of these people. We want to create a world where everyone feels valued and everyone can follow their talents and dreams. This successful passion project was created in collaboration with care organizations Amerpoort, DOEG Care and Careander.
